About the Book
It took about three years to write the book. Of course it didn't start off as a book... I started to write up a pamphlet about our 9/11 experience at the College of the North Atlantic in Gander. It grew from there to all of Central Newfoundland and eventually the whole province.
I still get approached by people who want to tell me about their interaction with passengers. Every story is different but always about kindness on the part of the volunteer or the passenger. So much love was shared!
About the Author
I retired from the College of the North Atlantic in 2005. In keeping myself busy, I have researched my family history in Newfoundland and successfully connected all of the Moss families to one common source (well, two brothers), and one community. I self-published a book in 2014 documenting all the Moss families in the province, That book "The Mosses of Bonavista Bay and Beyond" is available from Blurb.ca. This book has been updated to include information and families discovered since 2014. The last update was 2019.
